Last Week’s Happenings

BBQ in the Snow

The week starting on the 5th of April wasn’t very eventful, but it was busy.

Paul (my teenage son) and I went on a walk together every morning, right before lunch. I’m still using The Walk app, which is developed by the same people who created Zombies, Run! The story is really immersive and leaves you wanting to know what happens next. If you’re wanting to get out and walk more, I highly recommend it! The first few episodes are free, but you’ll have to purchase a membership to unlock all of them.

I spent the rest of the week editing videos for YouTube. These videos will premiere on my YT channel every Tuesday during the month of May in addition to my daily shorts videos (which are primarily Twitch clips of my and other channels).

Today (the 11th) my partner and I went to my sister’s in law house for her husband’s birthday. It was a socially distanced gathering outside in their garden. We had a BBQ with lots of food, some of which you can see pictured above. She baked the cake in the photo and takes orders for people in the greater Leeds areas. If you’d like to check out her work, you can do so on her Facebook page.

We are less than £10 away from reaching our next charity fundraising goal on Tiltify and will hopefully reach it by the end of the week. Remember — you can help us reach our goal by donating to the fundraiser yourself, or by adding your Parsecs to the Love Jar community challenge or redeeming the ‘Donate to charity’ reward with your channel points on my Twitch channel. Every little bit helps!

On Wednesday, I’m doing my first ever IRL Virtual Walk stream. As the lockdown eases and we’re able to travel again, I’ll be doing more of these, starting with areas around Leeds, West Yorkshire. Please register your interest for this event on my EventBrite page, if you haven’t already done so. I’m super excited about this event and can’t wait to show you around my city!

My regular streams this coming week are going to be more Hand of Fate 2 game play. As always, I’d love to see you there! My regular streaming schedule is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting at 8pm UK time.

Have a wonderful week and remember to act as if what you do makes a difference, because IT DOES!
